- Professional busy family looking for experienced, confident, energetic and fun nanny who is mature and experienced with babies and toddlers. Ready to start ASAP. Must genuinely love looking after and nurturing babies / toddlers and looking to fit in with (slightly bonkers), friendly family.
Their nanny of 2 years has moved south and we are looking for a temp replacement before their baby starts day care in September ish.
Duties are mainly looking after G6 months GORGEOUS PRINCESS, APPLE OF HER PARENTS EYE, CUTIE PATOOTIE and her also extremely cute brother. (parents are not biased in any way!)
Assisting with breakfast and getting B2.5year old ready for day care and looking after G6 months.
Walking with both kids to drop toddler off at day care.
Look after the baby for the rest of the day following nap schedule, feeding and routine .
Assisting with new food exploration.
Keeping her entertained, exploring the world, varied activities. taking her to classes, educational play, cuddles.
Being enthusiastic and also in tune with her emotions and needs.
Spending a lot of the day out and about as parents often work from home.
Assisting with light house duties when baby is sleeping in the afternoon.
Picking up toddler from day care at 4.30pm and bring him home. Finish at 5pm
Note: No screen time, family promote reading, fun, dancing, exploring and adventurous play.
Family are business owners with an office close by but often work from home or have irregular work hours. However you have the autonomy to come and go as you please, parents will stay out of the way.
Ideal candidate has proven experience with babies and multiple kids
safety conscious
creative thinking and autonomy to keep the days and weeks different and stimulating for baby.
Enthusiastic, empathetic and likes being outdoors
Organised, punctual, reliable, tidy.
car seats and car to get to lessons etc or drop off / pick ups on rainy days
Please note the family also have a Labrador dog who will do her best to make you believe she’s never had a pat or food in her life and must be pat ad fed all day long if it was up to her.
Extra hours / baby sitting / ongoing extra days available.
ASAP start and commitment until September at a minimum with potential to extend.
